#ParisFashionWeek2023 - #Countdown - Travel Prep TIP #3 - The State Department - Most people would never think to inform the US Embassy / US State Department. of your travels however, reporting your travel destination and dates to the State Department is not so that they can account for you if you are kidnapped, the information is also important if there is a natural disaster, a terrorist attack, you lose your passport or ID is stolen, etc. They will contact your emergency contact to keep your family informed. It takes about ten minutes to answer the questions on the State Department website, and they also provide tons of additional travel information, including travel advisories, and travel tips, and frequently ask questions. The most important thing they do is give you the location of the US Embassy closest to your destination. God forbid you need the embassy, at least you will have the right contact information. EXTRA TIP: Screenshot their information (address & phone number) and email it to yourself. In case you lose your phone or passport,

passport and Louis Vuitton case

you can pull up the info on any computer, because it's in your email. You will also need your destinations, your dates of travel, your hotel or accommodations, addresses, phone numbers, etc. But you can find that info on any of your reservation confirmations…. Dara, know where I can get a passport cover? What, Macy's sells designer labels? You just have to call Dara? WOW! ... lol lol
